Chiba Sports is a growing national distributor in the sports and public safety industries that is looking to take on new personnel. We are in the need of out-going individuals that are both professional and the "go-get'em type.

Excellent position for a goal oriented multi-tasked person who can maintain a sales customer/prospect list, contact senior-level decision makers via the telephone, engage them in needs-based dialog to qualify opportunities and secure commitments towards sales.

We market a performance glove line to the Cycling, Motorcycle, Baseball, Law Enforcement, Fire Protection and Military markets.  Our customer base is business-to-business selling to retailers, public safety suppliers, law enforcement and fire departments.

Responsibilities include:

·  Contacting business owners and senior level executives over the phone

·  Calling pre-qualified business leads

·  Identifying opportunities and scheduling follow-up marketing opportunities

·  Consultative selling in a needs-based dialogue

·  Maintaining a customer/prospect list within a database

·  The ability to close the sale

Skills / Requirements Skills needed to be successful:

·  Strong oral and written communication skills

·  Detail oriented

·  Demonstrated sales and/or customer service experience in a quota driven sales environment

·  Project a professional image

·  Enthusiastic, energetic people with good telephone presence

·  Previous sales experience preferred but not required

·  Positive attitude and solid work ethic

·  Desire and ability to develop new accounts
